If the last name rings familiar, it should. Lani is the daughter of longtime real estate sales professional Patrick Higgins – half of the one-time Higgins & Heath/Better Homes & Gardens juggernaut of the late 1970s through the mid 1990s and now an integral part of the Kelly Price & Company team.
Lani, who is just starting out in real estate, wants to follow in her father’s footsteps and, like her dad, hopes to one day establish her own identity as a top real estate sales professional. For the time being, though, it will be a family affair. Father and daughter will be working together as a sales team, with Patrick serving as a mentor and imparting the benefit of more than 30 years real estate sales and marketing experience. “I can’t think of a better or more qualified person to learn from than my father,” Lani says proudly. “It’s going to be a wonderful learning experience.”
One of the newest members of the Kelly Price family, Lani joins the company after gaining valuable experience at several industry giants following her graduation from the University of Colorado in 2002 – Yahoo!, Time, Inc. and Hyatt. The experience and work ethic she earned at those companies will serve as the foundation for her budding career in real estate.
“Lani is a wonderful addition to our growing family of sales professionals,” says company founder and owner Kelly Price. “She has an outstanding future ahead of her and – working and learning from her father – should go extremely far.”
On a more personal level, Lani was born and raised in Orlando. She attended Bishop Moore High School, where she earned a cheerleading scholarship to the University of Hawaii. She stayed there for a year before transferring to the University of Colorado where she earned a degree in Communications. She is currently working towards her MBA at Rollins College.
Lani specializes in the Winter Park, Colonialtown, downtown Orlando and College Park markets.
